San Diego Stripes

Hello!

Reflecting back on my trip to Cali, it was nothing short of exciting. Following the rep Tour and our weekend in Los Angeles, we made our way down to San Diego for the final leg of our vacation.

The San Diego area is my favorite place in the entire world, and every time I go back I fall more in love with the city. It’s like visiting somewhere new each time, even though I’m familiar with the area.

Right outside of San Diego is the most beautiful little town, La Jolla, CA. If you haven’t been there before, I highly advise you visit at least once in your life. And if you’re a Grace & Frankie fan, the show takes place in La Jolla so it’s just another reason to visit :)

La Jolla is also home to my all-time favorite restaurant, Piatti, which you can find more about in this post here (coming soon).

We spent a whole day in La Jolla, as well as a night to eat dinner at Piatti. The outfit I’m sharing is what I wore to dinner, as the entire day there was spent in beach attire.

I went really simple with this outfit because the jumpsuit holds a lot to it. The multi-colored stripes make it pop and I didn’t want to take away from that.

Though it’s not pictured, the jumpsuit has a straight-cut hem, and suprisingly enough, it was the perfect length, hitting right at the heel line so my feet weren’t drowning in fabric and the shoes I wore were still visible.

The jumpsuit has a zipper in the back, which helped accentuate my waistline by creating a tighter appearance in the torso/bust area and gradually becoming more flowy as the eyes move down to the feet. It also has adjustable straps, so if you have a longer torso or bigger bust area, it’s easier to work around that. Though it is now out of stock, I’ve linked above where to shop a similar style.

This chic jumpsuit is one of my faves, and you’ll definitely be seeing more of it on the blog in posts to come! I can’t wait to share with you how else I decide to style this throughout the summer.

Though I paired it with tan faux-leather lace-up ankle boots, black stilletos or Mary Janes would work as an alternative for this style and pattern.

Keep looking back on the blog for more vacation posts and don’t forget to subscribe!

Xoxo,

Abby
